CORPORATE & MEDIA AFRICA COMMUNICATIONS LTD. is a Media Resources Organisation established in 2004. It is based in Lagos. The Company started as an enterprise and got incorporated in 2006, with Certificate of Incorporation No. RC674794.

CORPORATE & MEDIA AFRICA COMMUNICATIONS LTD is engaged in magazine publication, organisation of awards and other media services. The name of the Magazine is CORPORATE STANDARD. Corporate Standard is an Economic and Business Magazine professionally packaged for the Nigerian reading public. It is registered with the National Library with ISSN No. 1597-0752. Its main areas of focus include, Business, Economy, Corporate Activities, Personalities and the Society.

Our awards, are in two versions: the Distinguished Leadership in National Development Gold Award (D’LINGA) and the Meritorious Diamond Award for National Development (MEDA). The two awards, which are held separately, once a year, were instituted in 2004, to honour distinguished Nigerians who, in our estimation, have made appreciable contributions to the development of the country in their various fields of human endeavour.

In a nutshell, the aims and objectives of CORPORATE & MEDIA AFRICA COMMUNICATIONS LTD is to promote people & industry and to stimulate national development.

The company has a Board of Directors comprising of some prominent Nigerians. The D’LINGA AWARD has as its Grand Matron, Her Excellency, Chief (Mrs.) Titi Atiku Abubakar, Chairperson, Women Trafficking & Child Labour Eradication Foundation (WOTCLEF). Her Excellency’s choice for the position is as a result of her leadership role in alleviating the sufferings of the Nigerian womenfolk, children and the promotion of human dignity through the WOTCLEF.

The MEDA Award on the other hand, has as its Grand Patron, HRM Amb. King (Dr.) Frank Adele Eke, the Eze Gbakagbaka of Ikwere Land. A former Deputy Governor of Rivers State, King Eke is a First-Class Traditional Ruler in the state and a Medical Doctor of international repute.

King Eke was chosen for his position because of his relentless support for innovative ideas, industry and philanthropic activities, and community development.

As a media resources organisation, we believe that a magazine like ours which seeks to promote people and industry and the impact of the award of laurels of distinction to deserving individuals, should provide a veritable platform for the stimulation of economic growth and national development.
